SPS Commerce
Exchange EDI orders with retail partners through SPS Commerce and Fiddle.
Updated June 21, 20261 min read
SPS Commerce is an EDI network used to trade documents with retail partners. Connecting it to Fiddle routes incoming purchase orders in as sales orders and sends fulfillment data back as EDI documents.
Connect SPS Commerce
- Open the Integrations app and click Connect on SPS Commerce.
- Authorize Fiddle with the credentials provided for your SPS account.
- Confirm which trading partners and document types are in scope.
- Save and run the first sync.
What syncs
| Direction | Data |
|---|---|
| Into Fiddle | Retailer purchase orders become sales orders |
| Out to SPS Commerce | Shipment notices and fulfillment confirmations |
| Out to SPS Commerce | Inventory updates where your partner program supports them |
EDI trading partners often require specific document formats and labeling. Confirm each partner’s requirements with SPS before going live so documents are accepted.
Keep it healthy
- Map retailer SKUs to Fiddle items so order lines resolve correctly.
- Validate a test order with each partner before relying on automated exchange.
Process imported orders through the standard fulfillment flow, and see the Integrations overview for how syncing works.
