Connect your first integration

Connect a sales channel, accounting tool, or carrier and verify the first sync.

Connecting an integration takes a couple of minutes. The flow is similar for every platform: authorize, map a few settings, and verify the first sync.

Connect the integration

  1. Open the Integrations app.
  2. Find the integration you want and click Connect.
  3. You’ll be sent to the other platform to authorize Fiddle. Sign in and approve.
  4. You’re returned to Fiddle once the connection succeeds.

Authorize with an account that has admin rights on the other platform. A limited-access account may connect but fail to read orders or write inventory.

Configure sync settings

After connecting, set the basics:

  • Which location channel orders should draw stock from.
  • How to match products — usually by SKU. Make sure SKUs match on both sides.
  • Whether to push inventory levels back to the channel.

Verify the first sync

  1. Trigger or wait for the first sync.
  2. Confirm a recent order appears in Sales Orders, or that stock levels updated.
  3. Spot-check one product to confirm it matched to the right Fiddle item.

Mismatched SKUs are the #1 cause of products not linking. Fix them before a large sync so you don’t create duplicate items.

Done — see Integrations overview for what syncs and how to keep it healthy.
