Sales Development Representative

We are looking for Sales Development Reps that are engaging and innovative thinkers to help grow our startup. Our reps will be the outbound sales generation engine who prospect new clients, establish relationships and set demo appointments daily. This is a great position for self-starters who are looking for an opportunity to grow with a company and move up in a company quickly.

You will be responsible for many tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Generating, nurturing, and qualifying new business through prospecting
  • Provide pre-sales support in conjunction with your Founder demos and on-site demos
  • On-board clients, upload list and data
  • Representing at trade shows and customer events
  • Reporting on product markets segments

Customer Service and On-boarding Agent

This will be the first Customer Experience role at Fiddle, so you’ll be leading the charge! Reporting to the Director of Operations, we are seeking a smart, well-spoken, self-starter with a desire to contribute to the customer service team by helping us fulfill our mission to deliver timely, accurate, and professional customer service to all fiddle customers. This vital position requires an action-oriented, flexible problem-solver who will assist customers in resolving any and all customer facing problems.

The ideal person for this role will demonstrate the ability to work independently with the utmost of professionalism, integrity, and dependability. You have a bias for action and are strongly self-motivated not only to take great care of our customers, but also to proactively identify systemic issues that need to be resolved to prevent future customer concerns. It’d be great if you are supremely internet savvy and have high technical aptitude when it comes to online tools and research, and have a passion for continuous learning. As we always put the customer first, we’d expect you to be their number one advocate.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service/Communication
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with CRM’s (Intercom)
  • Be comfortable communicating with customers through live chat, text, email, and phone conversations.
  • Exude patience and ownership with each customer
  • Relentlessly advocate for the customer experience by challenging the status quo and providing feedback to the rest of the fiddle team.
  • Consistently achieve/exceed weekly productivity and quality standards.
  • Take ownership of multiple projects and be able to prioritize and manage one’s own time
  • Manage several engagements and deliver results within a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and present complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers
  • Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality

Customer On-boarding

  • Contact customers over text, email, or phone to arrange their importing schedule.
  • Help structure spreadsheets in a format to quickly on-board.
  • Set up training for each user in their role and deliver a short educated training.

  • College Degree
  • 2+ years as a customer service professional
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present data-driven recommendations successfully.

We are looking for a passionate, intellectually curious, and talented (Senior) Software Development Engineer who has experience building creative, mission critical software features. This is an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and development of our entire software suite, including customer-facing website & apps and internal-facing tools for inventory planning, order management, delivery management, content management and more. You will also have a high amount of autonomy and access to greenfield projects galore.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of key features across our stack.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
  • Partner with product owners, customers, and leadership to identify correct priorities of development.
  • Balance moving at an aggressive pace with also managing for scalability, reliability and efficiency. (We’re a startup...but we’re also aiming to create an entirely new inventory management software)

Requirements:

  • You are comfortable both client-side and server-side development on a cross-funcitonal team (though you may have a preference for one vs. the other if push comes to shove)
  • You have the ability to dive into a large polyglot codebase and contribute as you learn
  • You have experience with modern web frameworks that allow for progressive web applications and cross-platform development
  • You’re highly comfortable with all aspects of continuous delivery, including build automation, testing (unit & integration), build automation, and versioning/source control.

Preferred Qualifications:

(The key word here is “preferred” -- there are definitely amazing people who represent exceptional exceptions to these preferences.)
  • Bachelor’s and/or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or 4+ year relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with one or more ReactJs, Redux, MobX or NextJs.
  • You know all about the front-end development. Meaning you know API facades, state management, microservices, and GraphQL.
