Connecting and disconnecting an integration

Connect a new integration, reconnect after an expired token, or remove one cleanly.

Every integration follows the same lifecycle: connect it, keep it authorized, and disconnect it when you no longer need it.

Connect an integration

  1. Open the Integrations app.
  2. Find the integration and click Connect.
  3. Authorize Fiddle on the other platform with an admin account.
  4. You’re returned to Fiddle, where you set the location and product matching.

See Connect your first integration for the full first-time walkthrough.

Reconnect after a token expires

If you change a password or revoke access on the other platform, the connection breaks and syncing stops. To fix it, open the integration and click Reconnect, then re-authorize. Your existing settings and product mappings are preserved.

Most “it stopped syncing” reports are an expired token. Reconnecting is the first thing to try.

Disconnect an integration

  1. Open the integration in the Integrations app.
  2. Click Disconnect.
  3. Confirm.

Disconnecting stops all future syncing in both directions. It does not delete the orders or items already synced into Fiddle, and it does not change anything on the other platform.

While an integration is disconnected, inventory levels are no longer pushed to that channel, so stock can drift. Reconnect promptly if you plan to keep selling there.
