Fulfillment turns a confirmed sales order into a shipment. The flow is pick → pack → ship, and Fiddle updates stock and notifies the customer along the way.
1. Pick
- From the confirmed sales order, click Fulfill.
- Fiddle generates a pick list of items and quantities by location.
- Pick the goods and confirm the picked quantities.
2. Pack
- Assign the picked items to one or more packages.
- Choose a package type to capture weight and dimensions for accurate rates.
3. Ship
- Connect a carrier if you haven’t already.
- Buy and print the shipping label directly from the order.
- Mark the order shipped.
When you ship:
- On-hand stock is decremented and the reservation is released.
- Tracking details are recorded and can be emailed to the customer automatically.
Shipping many orders at once? Use batch fulfillment to pick, pack, and buy labels for a whole group of orders in one pass instead of one at a time.
Buying labels requires a funded shipping wallet. If label purchase fails, check the wallet balance first.
