Once an order is packed, Fiddle quotes live rates from your connected carriers so you can buy and print a label without leaving the order.
Buy a label
- Open a packed fulfillment order and click Ship.
- Confirm the package type, weight, and dimensions — rates depend on them.
- Review the rates returned per carrier and service.
- Select a service and click Buy label.
- The cost is deducted from your shipping wallet.
Print the label
After purchase, the label is attached to the order as a PDF.
- Click Print to send it to your label printer or browser.
- Reprint anytime from the order — the purchased label stays available.
- Print a packing slip alongside the label if your workflow needs one.
Use a 4×6 thermal printer for the cleanest output. Set your printer to the label’s actual size rather than scaling it to a full sheet.
If a rate or purchase fails
| Problem | Likely cause |
|---|---|
| No rates returned | Missing weight, dimensions, or carrier connection |
| Purchase declined | Insufficient shipping wallet balance |
| Address error | Recipient or sender address fails carrier validation |
To buy labels, connect a shipping carrier first.
