The shipping wallet
Fund the wallet that pays for shipping labels and keep a buffer to avoid failures.
The shipping wallet is the prepaid balance Fiddle draws from each time you buy a label. A funded wallet keeps label purchases from failing mid-pack.
Add funds
- Go to Settings → Shipping → Wallet.
- Click Add funds and enter an amount.
- Pay with your saved payment method.
- The balance updates immediately and is ready for label purchases.
How charges work
- Each label purchase deducts the carrier rate from the balance.
- Voiding an eligible label refunds its cost back to the wallet.
- The current balance shows in the wallet and at the moment you buy a label.
If a label purchase fails, check the wallet balance first — an empty or low wallet is the most common cause.
Auto-reload
Turn on auto-reload to top up automatically when the balance drops below a threshold you set. This is the simplest way to avoid interruptions during busy shipping runs and batch fulfillment.
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Threshold | Balance that triggers a reload |
| Reload amount | How much is added each time |
Set the threshold above your largest single label cost so a big shipment can never drain the wallet below zero.
Next steps
With the wallet funded, you can buy and print shipping labels.
