Browser support and requirements

Supported browsers, settings, and connection needed to run Fiddle smoothly.

Fiddle is a web application that runs in your browser — no install required. Using a current browser with the right settings prevents most display and login problems.

Supported browsers

For the best experience, use the latest version of one of these:

Browser Recommendation
Google Chrome Latest stable version
Microsoft Edge Latest stable version
Mozilla Firefox Latest stable version
Apple Safari Latest stable version

Older or unsupported browsers may show layout glitches, blank screens, or login loops. Keeping your browser updated is the single most effective fix.

Required settings

Make sure these are enabled for the Fiddle site:

  • JavaScript — required for the app to load at all.
  • Cookies — required to keep you signed in.
  • Pop-ups allowed (or exceptions added) so PDFs, labels, and print views can open.

Disable ad blockers and strict privacy extensions for the site if pages render incorrectly.

Connection and device

  • A stable broadband connection; large lists and reports load faster on faster links.
  • A reasonably modern desktop or laptop. Fiddle works on tablets, but data-heavy screens are easier to use on a larger display.

Behind a corporate firewall or VPN? Ask your IT team to allowlist Fiddle so requests aren’t blocked or slowed.

If a supported, up-to-date browser still has trouble, see Performance and loading issues.
