Reporting overview
How reporting works in Fiddle and where to find the numbers you need.
Reporting turns the data Fiddle already tracks — stock, orders, production, and costs — into numbers you can act on. Every report reads from your live records, so the figures always reflect current activity.
Where reports live
Go to Reports to see the full catalog grouped by area: inventory, purchasing, sales, manufacturing, and finance. Open any report to view it on screen, then filter, sort, or export from there.
How reports are built
Each report is a defined set of columns and filters over one record type. You can run a ready-made standard report as-is, or build a custom report when you need different columns or filters.
Filtering and date ranges
Most reports accept a date range and one or more filters — for example a location, supplier, or status. Filters narrow the rows; the totals at the bottom recalculate to match what you’ve filtered.
Reports reflect your data at the moment you run them. Re-run a report after making changes to see the updated numbers.
Save and reuse
Once a report is filtered the way you like, save it as a saved view so you can return to the same configuration without setting it up again.
Next steps
Browse the standard reports catalog to see what’s available out of the box.
