Boards for sales, purchase, and work orders

Which order types support boards and how to use a board per workflow.

Boards work across the main order types in Fiddle, so each team can track its own pipeline visually.

Supported order types

You can create a board for any of these:

Order type Typical use
Sales orders Track fulfillment from confirmed to shipped
Quotes & estimates Manage the pipeline from draft to won or lost
Purchase orders Follow procurement from request to received
Work orders Watch production from scheduled to complete

Each board is scoped to one order type, so a sales board only shows sales orders and a work order board only shows work orders.

Open a board

  1. Go to the order type you want — for example Sales → Sales Orders.
  2. Switch the view from List to Board.
  3. The board opens with your configured stages as columns.

Work the board

  • Drag a card to a new column to advance the order through your workflow.
  • Open a card to jump straight into the full order record.
  • Filter the board to focus on a customer, supplier, or date range.

Each order type keeps its own stages. Configuring stages on the sales board does not change the purchase or work order boards.
