Print templates and documents
Customize the layout of POs, invoices, packing slips, and labels.
Print templates control how your documents look when you email or download them — purchase orders, invoices, quotes, packing slips, and labels.
Edit a template
- Go to Settings → Print templates.
- Pick the document type you want to change.
- Add your logo and adjust the header, colors, and footer.
- Choose which columns and fields appear on line items, including any custom fields.
- Save, then use Preview to see it with sample data.
What you can customize
| Element | Examples |
|---|---|
| Branding | Logo, accent color, company details |
| Line columns | SKU, description, quantity, price, tax |
| Totals | Subtotal, tax, discount, grand total |
| Footer | Terms, payment instructions, notes |
Multiple templates
You can keep more than one template per document type — for example, a detailed invoice and a simplified one — and choose which to use when you send a document.
Preview against a real record before sending to a customer or supplier. It’s the quickest way to catch a missing field or a logo that’s the wrong size.
Templates change how documents are rendered. They don’t change the underlying numbers, taxes, or quantities on the record.
