Filo and data privacy
How Filo scopes to your organization and respects your user permissions.
Filo is designed to work only within your own organization’s data, under the same rules that already govern your account.
Your data stays in your organization
Filo answers from your live Fiddle records and does not pull from other organizations. Every question is scoped to the workspace you’re signed in to.
Permissions are respected
Filo honors your user permissions. If your role can’t see certain records or screens, Filo can’t surface them for you either — it has no special access beyond what you do.
Two people can ask Filo the same question and get different results, because each answer is limited to what that user is allowed to see.
You stay in control of actions
When Filo helps with a task — drafting a purchase order, for example — it prepares the work for you to review. It won’t change records silently; you confirm anything that writes to your data.
Because answers depend on permissions, ask an administrator if you expect a record that Filo says it can’t find — access, not the assistant, is usually the reason.
