Ask Filo about your data

How to phrase questions so Filo returns accurate answers from your live data.

Updated June 21, 20261 min read

Filo answers from your live Fiddle data — stock, orders, suppliers, customers, items, and production. The clearer your question, the better the answer.

Ask a question

  1. Open the Filo panel and type a plain-language question.
  2. Name the record type and any filter you care about — status, location, supplier, or date.
  3. Press Enter and review the result.

Examples that work well

  • “Which items are below their reorder point?”
  • “Show open purchase orders for Acme Supply.”
  • “What’s the status of sales order #1042?”
  • “List sales orders shipping this week that aren’t packed yet.”

Refine instead of restarting

If the first answer is close but not quite right, follow up in the same thread:

  • “Only the ones over $500.”
  • “Sort by due date.”
  • “Just location Warehouse B.”

Filo keeps the context, so you don’t need to repeat the original question.

Filter as you ask. “Overdue sales orders shipping this week” beats “show orders” and saves you a round trip.

Filo answers from your current data and your permissions. If a number looks off, confirm you’re scoped to the right location — see understanding stock levels.
