Keyboard shortcuts and tips

Speed up everyday work in Fiddle with search, quick navigation, and handy habits.

A few habits and shortcuts make moving around Fiddle much faster, especially once you’re working with it every day.

Search first

The fastest way to reach anything is search. Open it from the top bar and start typing an item name, SKU, order number, customer, or supplier — Fiddle jumps you straight to the record.

Search by SKU or order number rather than scrolling lists. It’s the quickest way to open the exact record you need.

Work efficiently in lists

  • Use filters on list screens (items, orders, POs) to narrow to what matters, then save the view for next time.
  • Sort by columns like available stock or due date to surface what needs attention.
  • Select multiple rows to apply bulk actions such as status changes or exports.

Handy habits

  1. Set reorder points so low stock is flagged for you instead of caught by hand.
  2. Keep supplier pricing saved so purchase order costs fill in automatically.
  3. Use draft orders to prepare work without affecting stock until you’re ready.

Ask Filo

Fiddle’s built-in AI assistant, Filo, can answer questions about your data and help you take action — try asking it where stock is low or to summarize an order. It’s often faster than navigating manually.
